Simon (Steve) Soldinger, M.D. was born in Manchester, England in 1951, where he lived until the age of three. His family relocated to Ohio and then moved to the San Fernando Valley at age seven.
Simon attended Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA, and graduated in 1969 with honors. He continued his education at UCLA from 1969 to 1973, and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree in psychology. Simon then attended UC Irvine Medical School from 1973 to 1977. He completed an Internship at Los Angeles County - University of Southern California from 1977 to 1978 and completed a Residency in Psychiatry at the
University of California at Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute from 1978 to 1981.
Simon became Board Certified in Psychiatry in 1983, and he became a
distinguished fellow in Psychiatry in 2003.
Dr. Soldinger serves on the Board of the Southern California Psychiatric Society, as the Assembly representative for the American Psychiatric Association. He is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi social Fraternity and
Foundation Board Member of Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity,
Dr. Soldinger is married with three grown children and resides in Encino
with his wife and fur-baby dog Molly.
